Éstos cortometrajes exploran las relaciones de familia desde un lenguaje de cine de ficción que integra elementos y dispositivos propios del cine documental. En ambas películas hay un interés por trabajar la puesta en escena y el trabajo con los actores en un tono naturalista, a través de la improvisación. La relación entre imagen y sonido se complementa para encontrar un lenguaje minimalista, a través de pocos planos y de planos-secuencia. 

 

La experiencia con ambos proyectos me permitió descubrir que me interesaban formas de representación y expresión simbólica más inmediatas que el cine clásico y la producción previamente concebida desde el guión.

These short films explore family relationships from a fictional film language that integrates elements and devices that come from documentary film. In both films there is an interest in working on the staging and working with the actors in a naturalistic tone, through improvisation. The relationship between image and sound is complemented to find a minimalist language, through few shots and sequence shots.

 

The experience with both projects allowed me to discover that I was interested in forms of representation and symbolic expression more immediate than classic cinema, and the production previously conceived from script.
